How it works:

  • Pick Your Dresses: Each booking is strictly 30 minutes for 1 person with a maximum of 3 dresses per try on booking.
  • Pay One Simple Fee: Bookings have a $15 try-on fee. This fee is non-refundable and cannot be put towards any future booking.
  • Try On: We are located in Westleigh 2120 with specific address provided via email after booking (please contact if you did not receive this). You may bring one guest for viewing only and if you’d like more than 30 minutes or to book with friends, please book a back-to-back time slot.

Notes:

  • Dresses are regularly out for hire, at cleaning or undergoing alterations, we highly recommend getting in contact with us to check availability for particular dress/s during your try on session.
  • Please note that your particular dress/s may become unavailable to try on due to last-minute hires and will need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Try On Timeslots are revised weekly so future bookings may be rescheduled.

What is the refund policy?

We do not offer refunds for any reason, including change of mind. Clients who cancel at least seven days before the hire period will receive a full store credit. If a client fails to notify Hire by Lauren and does not collect or use their hire, the booking will be forfeited with no credit or refund.

Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and is non-transferable.

Once a hire item has been dispatched, no refunds or credits will be provided, regardless of whether the item is worn.

Exchanges may be available upon request, subject to item availability and approval by Hire by Lauren. Any price difference must be paid prior to confirmation, and an additional fee may apply.

What happens if I return a dress late?

If a hire item is returned late or not in line with return instructions, a late fee of $25 per day will apply. If a late return causes cancellation or refund of a subsequent booking, the client will be liable for the full cost of that booking, in addition to any late fees or related charges.

When will I get my order?

You will receive the dress on the Arrival Date that you have chosen. In some cases you may receive the dress up to one week in advance, this does not affect the hire period or additional fees.

When do I return the dress?

You must return the dress on the third day of your hire. If it falls on the weekend, then the next business day following your event date.

E.g. If the third day of your hire is a Saturday/Sunday, return on Monday.

Place your dress as is, unwashed, in the included pre-paid satchel and hand it into your local post office over counter before 3:00PM.

Ensure that you select the correct event date as your start date.

How much does shipping cost?

Australia Post Return Shipping is $30, dependent on weight it could cost up to $40.
